LinkGather - An Overview



This plugin shows you how to export the web addresses for all your blogs posts in CSV format.

Get the plugin from the WordPress Plugin Repository by looking for LinkGather, or you can just go to the URL below:

When you have activated the plugin, straight away you are ready to go.

Step by Step Instructions


A new menu item on the options side of your WordPress admin console will appear called LinkGather:

Hovering over this tab option, you will then see a sub-menu with the different pieces available to you:

Clicking on the Home title, this will go to the plugins home page which supplies instructions, similar to these, on how to use the plugin.

Post Links


Click the Post Links offering to navigate you to the page that will reveal all of your websites published posts’ links. Be aware that for the purposes of these instructions, we are using our demo test site with just a few links in it.

You should now see a table with two columns, one for the title of your posts and another for the links of your posts. However how many posts you have will depend on how long this list will be.

Underneath the URL list, you will see that LinkGather has also added up how many post links you have.

You then also have the option here to download the posts in CSV style.

Page Links


The procedure above is exactly the same for Page Links, however instead of bringing back published URLs, it will bring back published pages instead:

wp.me Links


The option for JetPack URL's is again exactly the same procedure as those above, however, JetPack URL's are actually built in short links created by the JetPack software. If you have the JetPack plugin installed, you must have the short links option also enabled for our plugin to be able to check here gather those URL.

If you do not have the JetPack short links module enabled, our plugin will just pull back basic post links instead.

Assuming that you have JetPack short links enabled, clicking on our plugins wp.me Links option will bring back all those JetPack URLs that it has gathered:
